Captain Obvious would put an option to deselect homes that have *Pending* offers on the table.

Open the home details pages in "new windows" using the "right click" instead of "left click"... then you don't need to "go back a page" you only need to close the home details page when you are done with it.

Of course that still doesn't get Realtors to actually mark their listings "pending" when an offer is accepted.

As for gasoline; no one drives by without doing other research first; and if one has an agent, one typically calls for an appointment.  Even if not ready to see the inside yet, an agent still may have a better idea if it is still available.

So in the Austin area market there is a influx of people moving in from out of state placing multiple offers on the table for multiple homes and you cannot deselect anything that shows pending, those come up first. Believe it or not there are some shoppers that would like to not spend time on the road wasting gas looking at homes that have multiple offers. Pending function keeps selecting itself even after its deselecting itself after I go backwards one page.

Our market actually makes a distinction between "pending" and "under contract" not to mention additional distinctions for those under contract with a short sale disclosure. I think the captain might get confused in my neighborhood.

Good for captn obvious. Some markets, like mine, don't use the term pending. We use under contract so get the capt to use that too.
