Yeah, it all started years ago when the board allowed students to go to different schools from the same neighborhood...with different buses.

There has been no clear stability what-so-ever in school assignments for as long as I can remember. This is not a new thing. I loathe when a buyer brings up schools. I defer to the CMS wensite and keep my big mouth shut!

Contributions:1825Over the past many years clients often specifically purchase homes in certain school districts. Now, with the recent decisions of the Char-Meck School Board to close or realign many neighborhood schools, this could have a dramatic affect on many home values. Another blow to some neighborhoods struggling to attract stable homeowners. If you have an opinion on this subject I'd like to hear it.
