There is a simple solution. I use it myself. I downloaded "firefox" for my web browser. I then got the add on "noscripts" and "adblock plus". All of this is free and I no longer have the problems the scripts and ads gave me before. The only problem is that for some sites you have to allow certain parts to use scripts. You can choose to use 2 or 3 different browsers for different sites. if you do not want that kind of hassle.
