that frequently happens when city boundaries are smaller than the addresses. I don't know if that is the case in your example, but i have seen it many times here where city limits end at a particular street but addresses for homes for the next 5 miles are still that city. A zip code search still finds them, a map search still finds them but a search for the city name doesn't. a similar problem is when there is a city or town within a city and while they have different names they share a zip code (this is a problem in OKC in several spots where OKC has surrounded a town which is 1-2 miles by 2-3 miles. Post offices were combined in some of these places, so the zip code crosses city borders.
I looked at that address and while I am NOT familiar with the area, it looks like it is on a street that divides city limits and that house is OUTSIDE of them....that would explain why the problem occurs.
city searches limit to inside the limits.
zip code limit to the postal area.
it's frustrating to say the least, especially if you are searching in one of those areas. the map search tends to be the one that performs the best when this situation arises.
