Dont take the Zestimats - new algorithims or not - tooooo seriously. I think you confuse your VALUE with a ZESTIMATE - wrong thinking. Your value is what is is, Zestimate or no, Zillow or no. If you dont like Zillow, dont use it....

Exactly. This house, not more than 50 yards from my home is no way worth more than my house. The lot is 1000 sq feet smaller, the house itself is about 1000 sq feet smaller, 2 bedroom less than mine, 1 bathroom less and it's a ranch style home and mine is two level.
I've looked at the chart and data flow and noticed in just 3 months the value jumped $30,000. Where mine in the same span dropped nearly $10,000.
This makes no sense. If I was selling my home today at the value I know my home is worth, buyers would refer to the zestimate chart and my house would be on the market for months if not years.
Zillow needs to do something about this. Many home sellers are loosing a lot of money and stressed because of it.

I would like answers to the same question...
Complaint by many - why didn't neighbor's homes fall off the same Zestimate cliff?
The house right next door to mine is over 1,000 sq ft smaller and far fewer features, yet in one day the Zestimate for it went from 30K less than mine to 40K more!
This is an absolute outrage, that some were so unfairly singled out of their neighborhood. Give us the details of the algorithm, now.
