The first lien on this property was in early 1997 and other public records show 1996 as the built date, so my guess would be 1996. This community (Provence d'Aliso) was built in phases, I believe, meaning that some properties in it might have been built in 1993, while others (like your target property) at a later date. Still, some services (like Zillow) might be using 1993 for the entire development. When you open escrow, the title company should be able to answer some of those questions too, since they will have records of all of the prior sales. HOA might have some records too. Finally, your home inspector might be able to find some clues on various date stamps relating back to the original construction.

Call condo association. They should have that information 100% correct.
Conflicting info on what year the house was built in
How to i verify what year the condo was built?
Zillow is showing 2 different year 1996 on the listings 1993 on the public fact.
My agent says it's 1996, but both redfin and zillow has 1993 under public info
the mls number is : s680249
i tried checking with orange county tax assessor webpage using APN # 93993836
but all i could find was the amount of taxes due, not the year built.
please help. thanks
