Cow feedlots, and Soil Sulfates crumbling house foundation

Profile picture for SnowDesert
Does anybody know exactly where the cow feedlots are? what are the cross streets?

Which community is the soil sulfate problem that's causing the house foundations to crumble? Is that only specific to a subdivision because of the high concentration of sulfate in that particular area? or is it specific to a builder? So if it's a builder, then this problem may be affecting multiple communities?

Thanks.

Here's a map to where the cow feedlots are. 15400 N White And Parker Rd
Maricopa, AZ 85239. I'm not really familiar with Maricopa but that's what a simple Google search brought up.

Here's an article that says that the sulfate problem is restricted to Maricopa Meadows. Read at own risk.

If you're considering buying in Maricopa (or anywhere) be sure to have a thorough home inspection by a licensed, accredited, inspector. A good inspector should note any evidence of efflorescence. Keep in mind, I believe you can find some degree of efflorescence anywhere in the Valley.
