Credit Score for Overseas Buyer

Hi, I am from overseas and would like to invest in USA properties. However, I don't have any credit history. May I know how to build up my credit history so that I can have bank borrowing for my subsequent purchases. Thanks. Patrick

Hi Patrick.  You can start by opening a US Bank Account.  My company has had many overseas clients who are working on establishing their US presence and a first step is opening a bank account and an LLC (Limited Liability Corporation) for purchasing investment properties.  The process can actually be rather headache-free.

I might also suggest seeking out some private lenders.  There are many private lenders these days lending to overseas clients with favorable terms.

Best of luck to you in your US investments, it's a great time to buy!
