Did You Know NC has $8,000 Down Payment Help for Eligible Buyers?

The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency (NCHFA) has $8,000 and $14,900 down payment assistance funds available for first-time home buyers and veterans.  This money is at 0% interest, can be used for closing costs, and is available for homes up to $225,000.

This is a safe, affordable program offered by the State of NC.

Down payment assistance as well as the MCC tax credit and their FirstHome product.  They are great products!

NC Housing Finance Agency is a great source if you are struggling to pay your mortgage due to a job loss or temporary financial hardship, they have the "NC Foreclosure Prevention Fund".   This fund can provide an interest free loan of up to $36,000 to pay your mortgage and other related expenses for up to 36 months while you search or retrain for employment.  This is a great resource if you are facing trying times like this.  Learn more by clicking here
