Dave, sorry for the confusion - it wasn't a sale, just a re-fi. I dug a little deeper and found out that as part of the re-fi process, a mistake was found in the original filing of my county documents, so the sale documents had to be re-filed. I think that because the county sales documents were re-filed, zillow picked up on that as another sale even though it was not a sale, just a correction to the original sale. I've flagged it again and hope it gets removed from my sales history.

was the transaction a " sale " or a refi ? you state " Though it technically is a sale" ?? confused? Maybe the better question you meant to ask is " Does anyone know if zillow differentiates between a " closed - market " sale and a and actual open-market sale???? " "

Did my recent refinancing affect my zestimate?
