"go to almost any site and you will see a feedback link" -
Well, of the sites I use, I've never seen such a link. Especially not "google".
Hewlett Packard? hp.com
find me the link.
What about cityofpasadena.net ?
I've never seen such a link.
United States Patent Office? uspto.gov
They use "foreseeResults.com" for their feedback also.
Even the US Census Bureau uses forseeResults.com
census.gov
though they do have a feedback link now to solicit comments on their recently revised home page.

Well, when you change your mind and remember what you wanted to tell them that was too confidential to post under Suggestions or Bugs, use the customer service E-mail form link.
Or use Sunnyview's suggestion and Email Neil or Ice through their "contact me" button on their profile page.
It certainly looks like they are collecting generic "feedback" in multiple formats from multiple locations, and that the company they hired to do "feedback" for them is providing them good statistical data.
I just thought when you posted "Didn't their used to be...." that you had actually seen it before and couldn't find a way to get back there again. As far as I can tell, it hasn't changed except for the updating of the form. But I don't pay attention to everything.

A 31 question survey? That's nuts. I didn't even bother to skim it other than to look for the number of the last question.
And again, not that's not what I was looking for. I note your other answers in regard to direct email addresses but quite frankly I've forgotten what I was interested in saying in the first place. If it's this hard to find a way to communicate it's just not worth the hassle. Appreciate the effort anyway.

By the way, I also found out that having taken the survey is also stored in one of the cookies, as restoring the cookies from an earlier date let me get back to the FEEDBACK question again.
I haven't tried to compare the cookie values close enough to know which cookie.

I just found out there is also a fsr.a cookie set by Zillow when one views the Feedback form. Fortunately, if one is only looking at the images of the Feedback form, it doesn't set any cookies. And fortunately, it is very easy to clear cookies selectively any time one wants to.

And the "survey": (7 images):

I took the trouble to do screen captures of the "feedback" question and survey, since perhaps some have not seen it, or it has been a long time since seen and no easy way to get back to it... (apparently to minimize ballot stuffing... I still have not filled one out, and have no intention of ever filling it out)

The survey is titled "FEEDBACK" and as it is shows up automatically for each site visitor at least once, Zillow believes they are collecting that "feedback". And the 3rd party is doing the analysis and statistics of that feedback for them, so it is not biased by how Zillow processes it.
Anyway, any "feedback" of the type you are suggesting (site improvements...) they tend to want on the "suggestions" section of the forum, or the "bugs" section of the forum, but I tend to just E-mail Russ or Spencer. You can do that with their "contact me" buttons, or use the customer service E-mail form link. After they respond, you have an Email address to E-mail them directly.

I'm not thinking "Feedback" is any sort of priority or of much interest for the Zillow Marketing Machine...

You are right. There did used to be a contact/feedback form on the site. It may still be available and I hate to say it, but I cannot find it myself after the last site reorganization. :(
If it is a an issue with a specific property, you can contact Zillow using the yellow edit pencil that home page. That sends an email directly to customer service and then they can contact you offline.

Thanks for the answers.
I was actually referring to feedback, not surveys.
As an example, go to almost any site and you will see a feedback link.
This includes yahoo, facebook, google, ebay, etc. etc. ad infinitum.
Feedback. A way to communicate directly (by form or email) with the people behind the website without having the entire world participate.
Based on the responses, it would seem that feature doesn't exist at the present time which is very unusual. As noted, almost every website in the world provides such a feature. I'm very surprised zillow doesn't. I presume they feel that the forums are sufficient.

Even if one had done the survey.. and the fsr.r cookie no longer shows up, one can clear all cookies (thus being logged out), and can restart their browser for a "new session", and the fsr.s cookie will show up to monitor if one has seen enough pages to take the survey, and will randomly pop up the survey question again, and will set the fsr.r cookie once that pop-up shows up.
One can then log on, and the fsr cookies remain. It is not clear if one took the survey not logged on if it is counted for one's profile or not. There is no use for the fsr.s cookie once the fsr.r cookie is set.
The survey is done by an independent company, and not Zillow. If one agrees to take the survey, the pop-up survey window takes one to a different web site.
There is a cookie manager add-on for the FireFox browser available, so if one really wanted to take extra surveys, one could save the fsr.s cookie, and could keep deleting the fsr.r cookie and recalling the fsr.s cookie.

Doing a bit more checking, is appears that Zillow has decided to not allow people to stuff the ballot box, thus if a registered user already did the feedback survey, it is not setting the fsr cookies and not giving one an option to do the survey again. It seems to be stored for the user, and not in the cookies.

I believe you are referring to the pop-up "foresee" survey?
If so, you need to clear the Zillow fsr.s and fsr.r cookies (in your browser). Once those are cleared, Zillow will count some random number of page views, and then will pop up the question about if you want to take the feedback survey again.
In FireFox, the cookies are under the "tools" pull down menu, under "options", under the "privacy" tab, under "show cookies".

Feedback on houses? Zillow removed it. I don't know why, but suspect that it was because there was a lot of very negative feedback, and I'd guess it would set up liability issues.
Didn't there used to be a feedback feature?
