Hi!
The bus to New York City downtown is run by Academy Bus Lines. Pretty much follows the same route as NJ Transit (going to midtown), along the Route 9 Corridor until it gets on the Garden State Parkway.
I did this commute for YEARS in my pre-real estate days and honestly, many days I miss the solitude of the ride. In fact, I probably haven't finished another book since I stopped commuting!!

$275 seems to be the going rate for a monthly pass from Gordon's Corner.
According to the website, it is about hour and thirty mins from Gordon's Corner Road to Wall Street Area.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you want to talk more about the commute. I was in the same position as you... 16 years ago!
Good luck!
