Do I sell or stay for another couple of years?

I own a "hipster loft" in downtown Minneapolis.  I don't even live in the state any longer due to my fiance and I relocating for his job on the east coast.  I currently rent this out and still end up paying 7,000 in HOA and the remaining of my mortgage.  Do I sell or stay for a few years?  I bought it for 237k with a heated parking spot.  Who knows now what it is worth!

Since November 2009

I would call a realtor who really specializes in your type of property and that area and get a price opinion if you were to list it now.  Depending on your situation, you then could make a decision to sell or not.

Since December 2008

Yeah condos (especially hip pads in DT Mpls) took the greatest beating, pricewise. It would be great to know if they sold because if they didn't they took a beating.

It has been awhile since I've been a regular poster on Zillow.
That being said... it would appear that the OP was made in Jan 2006.

Depends on your situation.  No one knows what the market will bring in the next few years, some are forecasting another wave of foreclosures as option ARMs adjust upward.  This would probably flood the Minneapolis condo market again and drive prices down more.  Then again, the market/economy could rebound upward and values could stabilize and rise.  Your question is a difficult one to give advice on without lots more information about your circumstances; it all depends on your personal financial situation, goals and needs.
