It is true; that if you copied the code for the 5-star logo when you qualified for it, there is little Zillow can do to take it back away again.

Very intereting. I dont know much about this agent, but even if he was a zillow 5 star agent, I woud check his production in MLS, his listings, his website, etc, before choosing him as my agent. Being a zillow 5 star agent means you are very active on line, blogging, entering answers, etc, clooecting points. It has little to do with your real life production and it's unfortunate, some buyers and sellers fall for it.
regardless, Zillow should be accurate and in line with its rules. Otherwise, why bother.

Maybe if you ever were five star, that suffices.

Do agents using the 5 star logo online on thier websites have to have a actual 5 star ranking?

Contributions:56In this example this agent is not a five star agent and is misleading buyers and sellers by using the logo inappropriatly. Does anyone review these things as just takes away from the value of this logo if it can be just used at will without regard to actual status.
