Do realtors represent buyers?

I am interested in purchasing a home but cannot find information on the seller. The house is in foreclosure and listed as owned by an owner who is no longer in the country. Can a realtor represent me in finding necessary information on the status and the sale?

Yes, they can.  You can search for one on this site or go to a local real estate office of your choice.

There are Realtors, as well as banks and title companies, that specialize in foreclosures and short sales.  Call a local real estate office and ask for the manager of the office and ask for the foreclosure Realtor expert in that office.

Larry is correct. The agents featured on the specific listing page are familiar with the inventory the house you are interested is in and can answer all of your questions.

Yes, a Realtor/Real Estate Agent can help you, as they can represent a Seller or a Buyer. You should be able to find one by doing a Zillow search for the city/state that interests you and clicking on a few specific properties. There typically is a local Agent featured on the page of specific listings. if that doesn't work, there's always Google!

Good luck with your search.

Yes we can but it is sometimes hard to track down the right bank or case manager that is handling the property until it becomes listed
