Do some homes come fully furnished? What to Look for?

If I am looking for a single family home that is "furnished," with 4+ Bd 3+ Bth 3500+ sq ft, what will I find it listed under?  What is the best way to find that information out?  Do others actually want to sell their house fully furnished.  Given some houses, I think they would want to sell the old to buy new.  I am kind of in that position right now.  Some interior decoration with furniture just seems like it "may want to stay." Also, what about coastal homes and furniture?

You need to pay extra for everything.  Appliances, furniture etc.
Personal property is a personal thing. You will be surprised the seller are reluctant
to part many when you ask to give it to you.

Yes they do, some owners do sell their homes furnish, you will find them in the classified section of the news paper or on some websites I am not sure which one, sometime the regular for sale ad will mention it.

Some owners are relocating and do not want to take any thing with them, and will leave whatever the buyers wants.

That is an awfully large home to consider moving into with someone else's furniture tastes instead of yours.  More likely you might find an owner-occupied home with a limited amount of furniture that particularly appeals to you (Dining room set, Family room sofa/chairs, etc.)

Coastal homes that are being used as vacation rentals and are now for sale, are much more likely to be sold furnished. Very rare for that to happen in the city.

A home of this size being sold fully furnished is going to be rare.  The property and home will likely be of much more importance to you than the current furnishings.  My recommendation would be to find the home you want to buy.  Then when you make an offer, ask for specific furnishings you want to be included (or sold via separate bill of sale for $1).  A good agent can get creative and help you negotiate a good solution.  Good luck!

It is rare, but sometimes you will find one.   Put "furnished" in the key word filter.    Please be aware that you cannot include the furniture in the mortgage, so the price will need to be negotiated separately.
