Do you know any lenders that work with people who have had foreclosure?

All lenders will assist you but the bigger issue is can they help you.  The only way to find that out is to talk with several lenders; explain your situation, what you believe your credit score may be; other credit issues besides the foreclosure and then decide which one you want to work with.  Often is the case is that the one you pick will be unable due to their company credit criteria and you will have to choose another.  If you are in the western Washington Area I know a couple that have greater success than others.

All lenders work with people who have had a forclosure.  What they will look at is how long ago you foreclosed on you home and what your credit score is now.  Just call a reputable lender and begin you loan application!  NOW is the time to BUY!

Several do.  If you're in this circumstance, you want to speak to a lender who has a history of dealing with people who have less than perfect credit.  Often times, they can assist you with a path of credit "repair" if you will by reviewing your profile and making suggestions to help you raise your credit score to where you want it to be.

Good luck and Thanks!

There are a lot of lenders that do this. In my experience, the easiest way to get financing after a foreclosure is to look into an FHA loan, which many lenders offer. As long as it has been at least 3 years since your foreclosure, you should have good luck with this as long as you've otherwise maintained your credit. A lot of people had foreclosures during the market downturn and it certainly doesn't carry the same stigma that it once did. Good luck with your search!

Tim is correct, your first step should be contacting a lender and have them look at your credit report.

Good luck and best wishes!

All lenders do, but it will depend how long ago it was and what your credit is now.
