Do you still offer a comparable property line survey similar to The County Auditors office?

I'm having a problem with my used to be very good neighbor.  He seems to want one of my trees and got upset that I cut my own front tree down and he didn't get the wood.  I don't understand this type of greed over a tree.  It was on my property and he still got upset with me, he has always been thankful and kind to me until this tree business and told me how he really appreciated how well I took care of my property.

You should be able to get a plat map from the office of Troy's City Engineer, to have a rough idea of where your property lines are.  You can also get a copy of a plat map from your County Administation Building.  (In Cuyahoga County, as an example, the plat maps are located in a "Map Room" that is on the same floor as the County Recorder's Office.)

If you are thinking about cutting down any trees or bushes near your property line, I highly suggest that you obtain a formal survey from a local surveying company (the company will have engineers who certify that the lines on their drawing are correct).

Zillow doesn't offer surveys. they do have rough property lines on the map around your home, but I'd recommend getting a survey related to the definitions in your assessor's record before making major changes (such as trees near lot lines).  (I've seen Zillow's line vary by several yards from the real lot lines, cutting a relative's house in half - not in agreement with the assessor's records).
