R U still with an operation of that sort? When I worked Wholesale, I found that NetBranching "looked good", but in many cases it was simply a "skimming" operation and that there was not a single protocol or QC operation to be found. THey took a few crumbs per file from the LO, but it was the LO who had the relationship and the "mother ship" was a giant bulletin board of A/E's and programs... You know the what sticks to the wall will close syndrome.

You don't have Level 5 security clearance..
I work for Allied Home Mortgage (a "net" branch) and find them to be very hands off with regards to how I run my business, charge little, provide excellent compliance and direct wholesale rates. After 20 yrs in banking for all types of organizations I can say that this company has been excellent.

Thanks for the input. My initial impression was that they were mainly accounting firms with "lender relatioships" that some smaller Brokers or players could not find. That has its value as well, but I have been bombarded with "join the FHA bandwagon" for 250/mo & $695 Loan (all) and $300 processing if I needed it.. To me it would seem to make that arrangement very much at a disadvantage to "compete" for business, but I am an old dog and perhaps can't learn new tricks. Glad to know you are being treated well and that it works for you.

The most recent "sweeping" waive is for Netbranching because of the FHA savior to replace Subprime. Does anyone like working for a Netbranch and what are the pros and cons if you do work for one?
