So is the secret to get a response from Zillow to mention Trulia in the thread title? Not only does the CEO intervene he commits the company to follow up next day. It will be interesting if they actually fixed the posters problem.
What's this word "help" I just read in Mr Rascoffs post? It's not something I have seen used on this Forum before. Usually it's just platitudes and please go away and stop asking silly questions, and any mention of lawsuits just gets lots of comments that zillow is a media company using it's First Amendment rights to publish any erroneous information with no right of appeal by the homeowner.

So exactly what is the data feed for Zillow? Where did you get the purchase price?

Who do I contact at Zillow regarding the posted data regarding my property purchase price? It is very incorrect and law suits will start to fly.

Hi,
it depends on the specific listing
we get listings from agents, brokerages, and in some cases MLSs
Trulia is the same way -- some of their listings come from MLSs, but many (most?) don't.

Does Zillow.com pull its data from the mls system or from another search engine (like Trulia.com)..?
