search options on "recently sold" are:
1 day
1 week
2 weeks
1 month
3 months
6 months
1 year
2 years
and
3 years.
But for some reason the 2 and 3 years stopped working about a year ago and only give 1 year.
(use the "homes" tab at the top of this page to get to the search page, and expand the "filters" box in the upper left corner of the map, and select your criterion).
It also has trend data for cities and zip codes; use the "local info" tab at the top of this page.
Also, you can get a list of 50 "similar" homes that sold within the past year within about a 1 mile radius of almost any property on Zillow... there is a link in the right margin of the home details page labeled "see sales similar to ....." (under the "nearby similar sales section).

Well, yes, but not as good as your local MLS. I would contact a local Realtor or appraiser for access to this type of dataset.
