Does anyone know which lenders provide physician mortgages in Texas?

So far I know of BBVA Compass and SunTrust.

Any others?

I know this is an old post but I can assist with Physician Loans in TX as well as other states. Our program has also recently been expanded to assist Dentist's, Attorney's, and CPA's.

We allow loan up to 1MM at 95% LTV with no MI.

Roxanne Flores at Bank of Texas does this loan.  I have worked with her for a long time and she's terrific.  Call me if you want her contact info.

A client of mine did one last year with Compass.  Get all the facts from whomever you decide to use and compare the rates and the fees.  Physician loans have no MI so that's a huge plus when you don't have full 20% and they take into consideration future earnings if you are still a resident.

Good luck my friend. Self employed, including physicians and attorneys, now have a microscope shoved up their butt by lenders. They jacked me around last year (yes, I'm self employed) over a $147 deposit into one of my accounts and I couldn't remember what it was for. I assured them I didn't make a drug run to Mexico. I really couldn't even believe they were making an issue of it, but alas, this is the nature of lending these days so be prepared for the run-around. It is surely frustrating.
