Zillow can't possibly know the condition of the roof and when it was put on, so the answer is NO.
Also, an appraiser does not add value to a new roof either, unless it's an upgraded roof such as tile roof.
Now, consumer is a different story. When a buyer sees a new roof and other upgrades, it gives them a good feeling about the house, so they are more likely to be interested in the house.

A new roof does not add monetary value to a home. It is expected that a house will have a proper roof. A new (or newer) roof may make a home more attractive to a buyer, but it willl not necessarily affect what the home is worth.
