Does the zestimate get effected (pos./neg.) if the lot size is incorrect? (see below)

i saw a property that was listed as 13 acres to include the home when the lot size was actually 1.3 acres resulting in an extremely over-inflated zestimate.

Not just square footage and amount of land, but also number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms, number of stories, year built, last sold price adjusted for date, tax assessed value adjusted for local rules, and covered parking.

I would think so since price is based off of sqare footage for homes and lots or acreage for land.

The amount of effect of an incorrect number for one of the variables depends on the location and what the curve fit indicates is important for buyers in that area at the given time, but yes, generally inflated numbers cause inflated estimates.  Use the "report a problem" on the home details page (edit tab under the picture) if some of the home data looks significantly wrong.
