Does your website still show a house for sale even though a seller has accepted an offer?

If a seller has accepted an offer from a buyer, but closing has not yet occurred, does your website continue showing the house "for sale" up until closing?

It's up to the person who listed the property to set the status properly.  They frequently don't.  So, complain to them when you find it.  Agents should be more on the ball, their other active listings don't need to be competing for attention with all the old ones.

Zillow does have a "pending" status, but the agent or FSBO has to specifically change the status, or change the status on the syndicating source.

It doesn't get change to "pending" automatically.
