I decided to try it. My thinking was, "It can't hurt." My ad has supposedly run 1200 times with only 2 clicks. No calls. Anyone getting positive results?

Craig,
I've considered the EZ ads but haven't set one up yet. Right now the traffic flow on Zillow isn't ready to reach the local contacts. When the forums develop on the local level more then I'll be ready to spend ad money there. Not before.

It is inexpensive advertising for the zip code you live in or work in. I've not had much luck with ad I've run but I know that my listings are getting many looks. I would pay more if I could have a bigger ad space, maybe double the size of the current ad. Someone from Zillow said that they woudl check on that possibility.

I'm considering and EZ ad. I have just discovered Zillow and put up 3 listings today. Curiouse to know; do you have to have an EZ Ad for your listings to show up for sale? I did a general search for my listing's street address and there was nothing for sale. If I put in the specific address (including house number) I can see it. I would be willing to pay for the exposure if this is what is needed to get my listings to show. Thanks in advance for your help.

I've done EZ Ad's twice. The first time 2500 posts, 9 clicks, no contact though. This time, appx 1500 posts (i paid for 2500), but no clicks.

I'Ve done it 4 times. Minimal resulting clickthrough... Zillow appreciates the extra cash...

I've run them, more as image ads than anything else. I don't think it'll directly result in a sale though.

I ran 3 when they first started and had 6 to 17 clicks. I just ran another one (1500+ impressions) and only had 2 clicks. I think they function better for individual listings than they do promo ads.

My best ones were 24 clicks out of 2000 shown and 66 clicks out of 5000 shown. No calls directly related to these ads though as far as I know. I'm a bit ticked though because it seems like Zillow has converted the EZ ad system to something which doesn't allow you to place $15-$20 ads any more. Now you have to run it for 30 days and have to pick a percent of the zipcode's shows that you want. Anyone else run into this problem?

I have ran the ez ads, lots of looks no calls or emails.
I also run property ads again looks no calls or emails.
* Haven't ran into the 30 day process.

I have run the EZ ads multiple times and gotten zilch. I got no calls and a handful of clicks and it was shown about 9000+ times over three months.

I think they are too small and don't have room for any real information to give a viewer a reason to call you. The ads need to be re-vamped or upgraded.

I've spent some money on the EZ ads myself, and in doing so, I don't expect any calls, which I didn't get any. But I do have about 20 clicks to my profile, which is encouraging.
I see it as more for exposure and brand recognition to have your face and profile appear on a recognized website such as Zillow. If I do get a call, that's a bonus.

I have run 2 EZ Adds, I haven't recieved any phone calls, but I have gotten a lot of views on my profile. I did it more for the exposure than anything else. It is inexpensive advertising and that is what I was looking for.

I've had similar results to those above. Not really good for much more than personal promotion on a small scale. I use it to promote my new blog over my main site. Don't know that any of these 3rd parties have gotten the mix right yet. I will say Zillow seems to have it a bit better than over on Trulia in my opinion. At least here you can tweak more & adapt. Perhaps they'd be better if they used adsense metrics.

Contributions:238Although there have been a couple of prior posts talking about people's success (or lack of it) using EZ Ads, it's been some time since any posts on the subject, so I'm curious to hear about some updated figures. Recently, how many clicks per view have you recevied, specifically for agent branding ads? Has anyone actually got any leads or any business from the ads? What do you think about the EZ Ads in general?
