Erroneous Foreclosure Listing

Profile picture for SariBelle

Hello,

I am the owner of the property at 55 S. Carlton St., Castle Rock, CO.  I was informed earlier through a third party that Foreclosure.com is currently listing our property on Zillow (listing ID: ) as being under foreclosure.  Since our property is not currently in foreclosure, nor is it anywhere close to foreclosure, this is a false statement.  Given that our reputations are being harmed by this reported foreclosure status when anyone looks at our address for financial screening or background checks, it is irresponsible of Zillow to allow Foreclosure.com to continue to post this defamatory information under the Good Neighbor Policy.  It also jeopardizes our sale price for the property, since many people are wary of purchasing foreclosed homes.

We have already informed Foreclosure.com of the error so that they have a chance to rectify the situation by removing their listing, and we'd appreciate it if Zillow rectifies the situation by removing the improper listing immediately.

Regards,

SariBelle

Same response I got <HERE>

I also flagged it -  and called foreclosure.com spoke to "Andy".  He said he was not noified that our home was sold 6 months ago.  He also said that said he would drop my listing and the 'feed' to Zillow will go away.

He said it would take a couple days but I see mine is still on there.

I wish one of Zillow's employees would respond though.  It would be encouraging.... right?
