It looks as if you've claimed your home and edited square footage and other facts. That is exactly what I'm going to suggest. It takes time once the edits have happened for the Zestimate to respond, the time frame is a few weeks to a few months. The last one I watched carefully was 8 weeks.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my question. I should have done more research on the site before I posted. I also actually thought that I was posing my question directly to the staff at Zillow.

Wow, I learned something today - I had no idea it took so long for adjustments to take effect in a Zestimate. I would agree that this is an area where Zillow could improve.

Zillow can redo the Zestimates quickly in response to editing the facts, but they've chosen not to for reasons they keep to themselves (and they do not discriminate, the timing is true for everyone). That is their business decision and their choice. Some have different opinions, not unusual in this world. If I were selling, I'd love to have the Zestimate as high as possible. If I were refinancing, I'd report lenders who pull up the Zestimate
