A letter from your employer would work just fine. Do you own any other properties?

Not a problem. I closed several last year for a group of friends who were all screen writers in LA. It does involve a little bit of additional documentation and an LO who is willing to make the case when an uninformed underwriter says" You can't do that". It is certainly doable though. I would be more than happy to explain the requirements in detail.

Like I said as long as you have a letter from your employer stating that you are able to work from home this will not be a problem.

A letter from your employer stating that your work arrangement is to telecommute from Las Vegas should be fine.
