You could contact listing agents. Just because a Realtor doesn't advertise as a buyers agent doesn't mean they don't have experience at it or can't be great helping you. ABR is the most common buyers agent specialty designation but CRS, GRI or EPRO are also signs of extra training. The best though is many years in the real estate business plus testimonials. Best of luck and thank you much for your service to our country!

Flying Solo vs. Buyers Agent
I'm active-duty military, and I'd like to purchase a home sometime early 2011, but I cannot find a Buyer's Agent in the area where I hope to purchase. Should I simply "fly solo" and contact the listing agents of the homes that interest me?
