Follow up from previous question, child support lein.

Profile picture for lmyers80
I don't know if this is an appropriate question but I have been doing some research. My childrens father is very behind on his childsupport. So much so that they put a lein on his property. He has since lost the house to taxes, and has been auctioned off. Someone has told me that since there was a lien on the title that before it could be sold that the child support would have to be paid by the auctioneer. Is this true?
