For what date does your estimation relates to ?

Please advise me – when you state "Zillow Estimate

" is it possible to know for what date does this estimation relates to?

Hi,
Zestimates are typically updated 3x per week.  Just wanted to add that.
The rest of the Advice on this thread is good.

When you open the property information (i.e. click on the blue address line), then click on "zestimates and charts" on the left portion of the screen, you will see the exact date for the Zestimate.

Example:

  • Zestimate: $596,000
  • 30-day change: $3,500
  • Value Range: $506,600 - $661,560
  • Last updated: 04/08/2009

for zillow estimates in general - please keep in mind this is a computer program which has no personal knowledge of neighborhoods, updates (that are current or done well .......) local issues etc. it's a nice marketing gimmick but is dangerous to depend on. as an example. i own a house with a rentable cottage. zillow seems to have no knowledge of this and prices it as a single family home.
if you are seriously considering buying or selling call a realtor.
if you are in my neck of woods i'm here to help and advise.
