My county offers a foreclosure notification service for a nominal fee, but all of the information is available for free if you have the time to comb through the county website. It's effort-intensive, but doable, especially if your target area is small. My local weekly newspaper also lists defaults, which is another way to find them if you've got the time and eyes to read through the fine print.

Yup. There's a better way I think. Check out this mini course to finding free foreclosure listings on the web.

Contributions:62If anybody is interested in Foreclosures. I'm finding lots of my clients are asking me about them and how to search for them. I have a local Portland Real Estate site where I post them. But if you're not from Portland you can find them yourself for free at click here for foreclosures good luck. If anybody knows a better way please let us know. Good luck to all with their home search :)
