Selectman voted this week to forbid parking by out of town residents at Glen Lake Beach in an attempt to ease overcrowding. The 18 Lakefront parking spots will be off limits to out of town residents. The 7 trailer spots for boat cars/trucks and boat trailers will stay available to all.

Non residents of Goffstown can still use the beach, just not park in the beachfront spots. Most beach goers park accross the street at the school anyway, however the selctman are now looking to restrict parking there.

What is a victory for Goffstown residents,  is a big loss to those users from out of town that have enjoyed Glen Lake since the beach became public.
