Getting a new construction loan for a modular home

We have recently started the process of buying a modular home.  We live in a small town with absolutely no housing opportunities.  We only have about $7-$8 thousand as a down payment and fair credit.  No bankruptcies or forclusures.  About $9 thousand in debt and a car loan.  How would I go about finding the best lender for a new construction loan?

If you don't find your answer here, I would recommend going through our Mortgage Directory and calling one of the loan officers.  They may have more information on new construction loans or who you can talk to it.
