Getting home loan without credit history

I relocated to USA three months ago and although I've a good job, I do not have an existing credit history. How can I get a home loan to buy a house? I can agree to pay 20% downpayment but where is it possible to get a home loan without an exisitng credit history.

It is tough. I would start a relationship with a credit union. You can build a reputation with them faster than a traditional bank and your lack of credit will matter less.

Have a word with at least two mortgage brokers and seek their guidance, they will advice as to what steps to take to create a positive credit history.

That's an uphill slog, but the 20% down helps and I work with a pretty creative mortgage broker.  It anyone can make it happy he's the one.  Drop me an email and I'll give you his contact information.
