Growing Neighborhoods near Gainesville, FL?

I am planning to move to Gainesville with my Husband and 1 year old. We are looking for a neighborhood that appeals to young families.  What are some nice growing neighborhoods in the $200,000-$300,000 price range? Thanks!

There are several neighborhoods in Haile Plantation, Portofino, Willow Oak Plantation (SW Gainesville) and Sorrento, Weschester, Ellis Park (NW Gainesville).[website removed by Zillow moderator]

You could also look at Fletcher Heights.  It is mostly young families, close to UF, and has a huge park that is perfect for kids.

You could look into Fletchers Mill, Portofino, Sable Chase, Long Leaf, Elis Park, Rosemont and there are some more. If you are nor working with a Realtor and need assistance, I'll be glad to help.
