This is not news. Do these posts have a point? There are things to talk about, but your post contains zero information.

The price of bananas is expected to go sky high...meanwhile the U.S. postage stamp remains a remarkable value.

This reminds me of when newspapers resorted to a few lines of filler at the end of a column of news.

As someone who has some background in journalism, I would urge folks to provide attribution to their statements. This can be done in the form of a link. Otherwise it's all just filler at the bottom of the internet birdcage.

Some people need to post and have their name first on recent discussions for the Google search engine look up.  News has had little movement recently, so Geri's posts should be on the index pages crawled by Google for at least the next month; and Google retains the results of their crawling approximate 6 weeks before it is replaced with new crawler results.

Oh no!  Are bananas prices rising because people are trying to soak up the oil with them, I don't think postage stamps will do much good to small and not absorbent.

I think I will buy a boatload of bananas and cover them with postage stamps. I just checked the one in my lunch isn't turning brown under the sticker.

Was there a point to this post?

Of course there was a point; Google listings, like all the rest of her posts.

As to whether she was trying to say "now is a great time to buy" an oil skimmer is a matter of conjecture as most aren't qualified to operate one, and most don't have the financing to purchase one, and most don't have access to a refinery to sell the oil they collect.  Not to mention, they don't have the EPA authorization, and they don't have the required insurance or bonding.
