On Zillow you can get a Zestimate. To do that, you can go here enter the address in the Find Homes box and hit the blue GO button. If Zillow has one for the house, a map will come up for the area. Zillow also has more information about the Zestimate here. If you need more infoamtion about your value, hire an appraiser or call a local agent to give you a comparative market report (CMA). Hope it helps.

The best way is to find comparable values from your local MLS.  Unfortunately, only appraisers and real estate agents have access to this information, so you have to go through one of them.

The other way, and it takes patience and shoe leather, is to look at homes similar to yours currently listed for sale. They probably won't be worth their asking price, but you'll get an idea. If you know of a home similar to yours that recently sold, go down to your conty assessor's office and enter the address of the sold home into the database.  The selling price will pop up, assuming enough time has lapsed since the sale for the deed to have been recorded.

The time may come--and I hope it happens sooner rather than later--where this information will be online for anyone to access.

Values are subjective, and also depend on what you are trying to get a value for.  Are you going to sell it?  Are you refinancing or taking a second mortgage out on the property.  The easiest way is to get a real estate agent to prepare a Competitive Market Analysis, or pay an appraiser to give you a value.

Hi,
You can get a Cerified Market Analysis from any agent that works in your area. They are free and any agent would be thrilled to do that for you. I am not sure how far away I am from you but I would be willing to help you if I could. Have a great holiday.
