Dear Brichy,
You will have to pay a small fee to advertise your home for sale by owner but Zillow is an excellent website to do so. I recommend having a number of good photos of the interior & exterior of your home as well as a good description of its features & neighborhood amenities. There are also other sites to consider. Zillow has a sister site called postlets.com this will also put your home out on other sites.
Give yourself a specific timeline for doing your for sale by owner. If you don't get any inquiries or showings within 30-45 days you should seriously consider hiring a local Realtor.
