Use a Realtor, of if you are good with computers and sites such as Zillow, you can search for sold properties here. Not much different than what an agent would do.

Just make sure to enter similar search criteria ( property location, style, lot size, living area, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc.) and try to stay within .25 - .35 mile radius from the property in question.

Find a Realtor who knows the are where the subject property is located and ask them to perform a CMA for you. If you want to know what the property is really worth ask them what they would suggest to a buyer to offer if they were not listing the property themselves.

As a real estate professional for comps. If you do not have one I would suggest getting one.

Our real estate agent was able to give us comps quickly and easily. You can also search Zillow for recently sold houses in the area you are looking to buy. But it can be more difficult since the listing don't always have info like # of bedrooms, bathrooms, sq ft, etc.

A real estate agent should be able to provide you accurate comps for a property. Hopefully you are working with an agent that will easily provide you comparable properties.
