The most reliable sources: an appraiser and a realtor who is well-versed in your area.
Although Zillow provides good information, it is a resource, but not THE resource. To illustrate: pull up the zestimate from Zillow. Then compare that with what Cyberhomes and eppraisal and Trulia say. You will find a startling difference of opinion.
What aren't factored in these online services are amenities, upgrades/remodeling, condition of the property, marketability, curb appeal

I'll echo some of the comments made already. In my area values are down at least 10%, but some as much as 20-25%. Either way, to get specific about the value of YOUR house someone needs to take a closer look, whether it be a professional appraisal or a Comparable Market Analysis(CMA) by a Realtor. I could refer you to someone if you'd like.
There just don't seem to be a lot of buyers right now until you flush them out with really aggressive pricing. Hopefully if you are losing money on the selling end, you'll be able to make it up on the purchase end, because don't forget, their values are likely to be down too.

The only accurate ways to get the true value of your home is to pay for an appraiser to appraise it or have a local realtor provide you with a free market analysis of your home. I can do this for you by reviewing the comparable homes in your area. If you would like me to provide you with this information (free of charge of course) email me your address and I'll be happy to help.

my guess is any where between 25%-50% but the only way to really know is to run your areas listed and sold comps. know who your compition is and who is actually getting their propertys sold. ;-)

On Zillow, you can get a Zestimate, but Zillow does not give appraisals or market values. You can go here type your address in the "Questions, Keywords, Topics" box at the top of the page and hit the blue GO button. If Zillow has your house, a map will pop up. Click on the address for more info including recently sold comps in your area. Zillow is a good place to start doing research about your value. You can also call a local realtor to do a CMA or hire an appraiser. Hope the link helps
