If you are working with an agent, he or she can help you provide comparable specifically for the neighborhood, type of house, and condition of the house.

If you already put the property under contract, then your lender is going to require an appraisal to verify the value of the home.

Zillow has a lot of infomration available like recent sales in the area, neighborhood medians, trends in value etc. They also have an estimate of value called a Zestimate. Try the front page here Type the address into the "Find Homes" box and hit the blue GO button. The map and Zestimate should some up if Zillow has for the house. Click on the address for more information. If you need more help, a local realtor can run a CMA for you or you can call an appraiser. Hope the link helps.
