Harp2 Refie on residence and rental.

I have re-fi rental property under harp on 1/17/2012. I now want to do my residence under Harp2. Is this possible?

Yes it is possible to do on both properties but your loan must be owned by either Fannie Mae or Freddie mac, you can go to their respective websites and there is a loan look up tool on there that you can input your information and find out if your home is owned by one of the 2 gse investors.

If you are then depending if you have Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac then you will look for a lender who offers either the DU refi plus( Fannie) or the LP open access ( Freddie) depending on which investor you have.

You can look at the Fannie and Freddie web sites and see who it is owned by and make sure it was taken out May 2009 or sooner.

As long as the mortgage was taken out prior to 5/29/2009 and is serviced by Fannie or Freddie. Please review my profile and let me know if I can help with anything.
