till how many years does the value of a property keep increasing? This condo is already 224 yrs old. Can I expect the value to go up for 3 years atleast?

if you're asking about the old condos in North Irving I've seen some I wouldn't touch at any price and then there are some on Oconner that are upscale and nice that were built in the early 80's that are always in high demand. usarealestatemike@yahoo.com

I've seen buildings that were already falling apart after 20-25 years - so you really need to assess the quality of condo construction on a case-by-case basis.

Where is the condo? What is around it? Is it a sought after location? Is it well maintained? So many questions to ask when judging the appreciation of a condo. Time wise, 1985 wouldn't scare me at all. Buildings last 100+ years.

It really depends on what type of construction and how well it was built. If it is located in a nice area, built well and maintained then the condo should go up.
It won't matter that it is 25 years old. The place could last 100 years.
