What a question!

Buy it ONLY under the following circumstances:
1.If your name is NOAH;
2.Or, if you are an  independently rich gambler who does not need to care about the $$$, for now or the near /distant future;
3. And, you have a boat handy there with life jackets for every person/family member living with you;

4. AND, If you have a serious will to neglect observing a Survival Holiday (alluded to below) which is called "Pass-Over."

Good Luck, & listen to the other seriously excellent advice. Mel

I do not wish to sound like a jerk here, but the fact you even have to ask a question of this type in a buyers market with a HUGE inventory of homes for sale, says to me pass over this house, and find one without these issues. Rent the movie "The Money Pit" if you are still considering this house, and seriously, best of luck! Jim

I would say NO! The soil and structural issues could be resolved but maybe (hopefully) the federal government is going to stop subsidizing repairs for buildings located in a flood zone, soon.
