After claiming your property and correcting the errors be sure to check out the Zestimate Values & Accuracy Chart at the bottom of any page on Zillow. It explains the percentage of difference between the Zestimate and values in your area. It is impossible for Zestimate to be 100% accurate considering how different each market is around the country. So they have created an accuracy chart. Read the chart carefully, watch how your property Zestimate changes after you make adjustments and it will probably balance out in a week or so. But don't be disappointed if you are still not happy with the outcome. Few people are happy with what the past few years have done to their home values.

The simplest and quickest solution is to claim the property, and then edit the home facts so they are accurate. The long term solution is to see what is in your county assessor's database about your home and correct it at the source.
If you correct facts that are part of the Zestimate formula, over the next few weeks the Zestimate will be corrected to reflect those facts. I noticed it was about six to eight weeks with the last home I monitored after fact correction.
