Why is it many of the properties listed on Zillow are not available? I have many clients who call and ask to see properties that are listed for sale on zillow that are not available.  This is very frustrating to myself and my clients.  One such property is 4879 Durant in Merced.  This property was sold last year.  Zillow still has it as active.

On the home mentioned, Tammie Miller still has an active data feed showing the house as available.  here's a link to the data feed.   As you are her colleague in town, call her up and ask her why she hasn't removed it and describe how much trouble it has caused for you!

Why do so many remain?  Because the agents aren't cleaning up their data feeds.   Zillow is very aware of this issue and is working to improve the quality of the data feeds.
