Home Ownership

A homeowner died and laft the home to three daughters.
One of the daughters died.
Are not the children of that daughter entitled to one third
the proceeds of the property when sold?

That's a question that is best answered by an attorney.

There's too many variables to the scenario for even an attorney to answer within the format of Zillow.

There's questions of how tenancy was held, whether there was will, who held the right of survivorship and if there was a will, how the will was set up.

The inheritance depends on the terms of both the original will leaving the home to the three daughters, as well as the will of the daughter who died.   If the latter died without a will, the inheritance depends on the state laws.

Please see an attorney.
