Looking for someone that has had a good experience with a home inspector in the Orange county area. We are looking at a a few REOs and want to have a home inspector lined up if we have an offer accepted. If anyone has someone they have worked with and felt they did a very comprehensive inspection I would like to know who I could start talking to. (beats just flipping through the yellow pages).

Call Affordable Home Inspections they are located in OC. You can ask for Jerry although I've used several of their inspectors and they are all wonderful! They are very detailed and affordable at the same time.

Locate a home inspector at www.creia.org. Type in a zip code, then narrow your search by asking if he/she (1) has a contractor license, (2) insured to comply with paragraph 11 of the real estate purchase agreement, and (3) has a sample inspection report you can review.
